I've only read through most of the clues to the identity of the Daughter of Babylon, but your conclusions appear to be well-considered and thoroughly-supported. One may be benefitted by a somewhat longer view of recent world history in the way of having lived during many of the developments described in this book. Irrespective of how, specifically, one interprets these developments, the "birth pangs" do indeed to be coming with greater frequency. SVFLO

Eh... it seems people can pretty much make anything fit in the Bible. It's all about interpretation. You can say we let the Bible interpret itself. That sounds good, but there is always scripture that is being stretched. It the classic "The scripture could mean "that", but it also could mean "this"." It's just as possible that the rediscovered actual Babylon found in Iraq is the Babylon the Bible is talking about. I'm just sayin...
